An evening to remember!

A while ago we realised that a huge proportion of the Creative community in Cornwall often dreads the idea of traditional networking scenarios. We teamed this knowledge with the desire to make a difference in this community, sticking with our own motto of doing things differently, and came up with our first ever event – the Cornwall Creatives Feast Night.

The evening was truly fantastic. People from across Cornwall joined us all with the common interests of Cornwall, business and doing and achieving great things. The energy throughout the evening was incredible; such positivity, inspiration and motivation. People with a strong sense of purpose and vision all coming together, forming potential collaborations, sharing ideas, enjoying the company of other like-minded people who just get it. All this teamed with fantastic food, drinks, flowers, and the most incredible sunset you’ve ever seen, honestly this is not an exaggeration!

Networking is crucial for business there’s no two ways about it, but why should this potentially amazing opportunity to meet others in similar industries and form connections which have endless possibilities be so daunting and unenjoyable? Aren’t we at our best when we’re relaxed, having fun and have our guard down? We truly believe so and this event was evidence that networking doesn’t have to feel like networking, like business or like work, it can feel like a relaxed, enjoyable evening shared with new people that quickly feel like friends.

We’ve been overwhelmed with the incredibly positive feedback and have had so many questions about when the next event will be.
